Mongolia is heavily, economically dependent from coal but also has abundant resources of Renewable energy. As of 2007 NREL US conducted survey, it shows that resources are almost at the 13000TWy of Wind and Solar which can supply energy demand of North east Asia alone. The Renewable energy might become a second economic driver for Mongolia`s economy. Master in Public administration from National Graduate Institute for Public policy studies Tokyo; Mr. Angarag Myagmar advocated Renewable energy development policies since 2012 majoring for Decentralized Micro grid and Asian super grid projects in Mongolia. Being Board member of Asian Wind energy association, advisor to Mongolian Asian super grid society and currently as acting Head of Renewable energy division of Ministry of Energy his task is to analyze current developments of Renewables and planning of policies for future projects and their impacts.
