Professional Profile

The business of Dr. Wu relates to all aspects of intellectual property. On the one hand, he focuses on providing the services of patent prosecution, invalidation and litigation to the clients, especially the clients in the fields of biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical and medical device field; on the other hand, he frequently advises clients on matters related to trademarks, copyright, trade secrets, unfair competition and other IP related issues. He is particularly good at offering IP protection solution on global perspectives for clients, and has very rich experience in the IP protection related to complex technology. While providing the lP legal services, Dr. Wu leads dozens of patent attorneys to offer services for the clients including scientific academies, multinational enterprises and high-tech enterprises, etc.

Dr. Wu is a patent attorney and attorney at law qualified to practice both in China and the United States. As a patent attorney and attorney at law, he served in leading IP firms in both China and the United States to assist multinational enterprises and prestigious universities for their patent prosecution, invalidation, and litigation, and to guide the establishment and perfection of relevant patent system and strategy. Besides, he also had experience in serving as IP counsel for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company to handle legal matters related to Chinese patent, trademark, anti-unfair competition, and drug registration.

Before starting his legal career, Dr. Wu worked as a scient ist in the field of neuroscience for more than 10 years. A portion of his work on the regulation of calcium channels has been selected and published by Nature, a well-known scientific magazine.
