Chi Su
He holds a Ph.D. degree in law from Peking University, and currently serves as the director of the Intellectual Property Case Guidance Research (Beijing) Base of the Supreme People's Court and the president of the Beijing Intellectual Property Law Association. In 1993, he held the position of presiding judge of the Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Beijing Intermediate People's Court, the first intellectual property tribunal in China. From November 2014 to December 2017, he served as president of Beijing Intellectual Property Court, the first intellectual property court in China. Su Chi is one of the most senior intellectual property judges in China. With his deep understanding of the rules of intellectual property trials, he presided over many typical cases with far-reaching influence, for example, the "Disney Company vs. Beijing Press Case" and "Hyey Medicine Cooperation vs. SAIC”, which was the first case in which all members of Judicial Committee attended, and “Iwncomm vs. Sony Case”. In 2015, he was appraised as the 50 most influential people in intellectual property by British magazine Managing Intellectual Property.
