Chuck Sholtz is Vice President, Intellectual Property
at Coherus Biosciences, a biosimilar platform company. His responsibilities
include IP support for several Coherus pipeline products, including patent
landscape analyses and IP strategy. Prior to joining Coherus, Chuck served for
eight years as Senior Counsel in the IP Law Group at Amgen, where he supported
programs in both the innovator and biosimilar sides of the company. Before
earning his law degree at Santa Clara University, he worked as a post-doctoral
fellow in the Neurology Department at Massachusetts General Hospital and the
Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. Chuck has Bachelor of Science
degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Engineering Science
(Bioengineering) from the University of Michigan, a Masters in Physiology from
Yale, and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Stanford.
