Kent Yang is a senior patent attorney at Novartis Pharma China. He supports some of the most important business units of Novartis China for patent-related issues, including patent prosecution, patent litigation, patent validity challenges, business counseling, and etc. He also supports other functions for various other IP issues including trade secret protection.

Before joining Novartis in 2012, Kent worked as a patent agent at Shanghai Patent and Trademark Law Office for 7 years, where his main focus was patent prosecution.

Kent is a qualified patent agent in China. He received his B.S. in Biology from Fudan University (Shanghai, China), and his M.S. in Pharmacology from Chinese Academy of Sciences.
